I awoke upon a dream on the day that summer was born, far
faraway in lands of exhilaration & colours so gay, of painted
heavens in the deepest blue and dazzling colours of pink;
I awoke upon a dream on the day that summer was born, in
faraway and exhilarating lands where the wind never howls
in solitary tear and where the quarrels of Man are tamed; In
a land where soft spoken voices share beautiful tales & spills
of laughter ripple through the air in hearty lyrics of exalting
symphonies, each in harmonious tune with the other;
I awoke upon a dream on the day that summer was born, far
far away in lands of exhilaration where the soft warm breeze
shifts in gentle caress over the vast fields ever green, while the
sun flirts in naughty entice, with the laughing daffodils;
I awoke upon a dream on the day that summer was born, in
faraway and exhilarating lands where dark shadows & their
phantoms, are kept at bay and where fear & nightmares are
conquered. In lands of unspeakable beauty where the Gods &
Goddesses of 'light' have been dwelling long before the dawn
of civilisation;
I awoke upon a dream on the day that summer was born, far
far away in lands of exhilaration and magical stars so bright,
with timeless fountains everywhere, spouting crystal clear
waters where mermaids bathe and blooming wild daisies in
sparkling white dress, nod their heads in greeting;
Of such beauty my eyes had never seen and of such elating
joy my heart had never felt...
